Redditch Mission Week is 7 days of exciting events taking place in churches and parks across Redditch. These events are great opportunities for you to learn about church, Jesus, and Christianity as a whole. On the Saturday of Mission Week, we have our big open-air event, Redditch Christian Festival, where we’ll have live music, kids’ games, food trucks, and more, as well as a brief message about why we’re doing all of this.
For those of us in the church, this is an opportunity for us to share the Good News and love of Jesus Christ in a practical way, and to show that church is more than dull sermons and ancient hymns.
Check out our recap from last year, as well as a list of upcoming events below!
What’s On
15-21 June 2026
The festival isn’t the only event we’re running in June! You’ll also see us out and about in the Town Centre, as well as at a handful of other events.
On Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 June, we’ll be holding Encounter Evenings at Oasis Christian Centre. These are opportunities for you to come and experience prayer and worship, as well as to learn more about how we do church.
We’ll also have Lightbox running a drop-in event in Church Green for 11-17 year olds, providing a safe space for young people to hang out, connect, and feel at home.
Our youth and children’s team will be running outdoor activities at Arrow Valley Park on Friday 19 June, too.
How do I get there?
Redditch Christian Festival is taking place at Arrow Valley Park.
If you’re driving, we recommend using Car Parks 1 and 2, accessible from the Lidl entrance on Battens Drive. There are other car parks available if you want to enjoy a walk through the park before making your way to the festival. Click here for more information on the car parks.
If you’re coming by bus, the Diamond Buses 62 stops at the Oast House on Paper Mill Drive. From there, you can use the underpass to get into the park, directly onto the field we’ll be using.
If you’re cycling to join us, Arrow Valley Park is on National Cycle Route 5 and Local Cycle Route 12.
What age range is Redditch Christian Festival aimed at?
Redditch Christian Festival is aimed at all ages. Earlier in the day, we’ll have games, bouncy castles and facepainting for children and teens, and in the afternoon we’ll have dance groups, bands and choirs on our big stage.
The games for children are all being run by fully DBS-checked members of our team.
How much does it cost to get in?
Entry to Redditch Christian Festival, and all of the activities on offer, are completely free – our goal is to bless and share God’s love with the people of Redditch.
We will be having food trucks on site, and they may charge for food and drinks that they offer.
How can I get involved?
As Redditch Christian Festival gets bigger, we’ll need more volunteers to keep everything running smoothly.
If you’d like to support us by getting involved, please email mission@oasisredditch.church
or fill in our volunteers form.
