About us
At Oasis Christian Centre, we believe that the Children and Youth are a critical part of our Church. We want to see them grow and be nurtured into the men and women that God has created them to be. With this in mind, we have put a lot of resources and time into developing our program to meet the needs of our young people.

Our Creche room is a fun and safe environment located upstairs in the Main Building. This is an unmanned facility, so you will need to stay with your child. However there is a large viewing window and audio so that you can still see and hear the service.
Get your children excited about coming to church and learning about God. Headed up by Asher Deakin, this group is for the younger members of our church, ages 3-5 years old.
During each session, your child will be encouraged to join in with some praise and worship songs in the Reeves room, alongside the other children’s groups. They will then be taken into their dedicated J.A.M Zone room for teaching, craft and more praise and worship.
Each Sunday School session lasts approximately one hour. Children will be returned to you after the sermon and can join with you for the final worship song.
Working through the Bible can sometimes be hard work – but not here! We have lots of fun in studying the Bible, with icebreaker games, hands-on practical activities, and crafts to aid us.
Power Kids is headed up by Asher Deakin and accommodates children ages 6 to 11. Children are taken to The Reeves’ Room during the service for teaching, fun and more praise and worship.
Each Sunday School session lasts approximately one hour. Children will return, with their Leaders, to the main church auditorium after the sermon, and can join with you for the final worship song.
Starting out in church can be confusing. Songs, speaking in tongues, the Holy Spirit… what’s it all about? See what the Bible says and make decisions for yourself with the aid of activities and games.
Liveset will leave after some praise and worship with the whole Church, returning once their activities have ended, unless alternative arrangements are requested.
Tiny Treasures is a group especially for pregnant mums and parents and carers of babies and young children. Children from bumps to four years old are welcome with their parents, grandparents or carers to play in a fun, safe and supportive environment.
If you need to escape the house or are looking for a place to socialise with your little one, or you are new to the town or just feel alone and want to make long-lasting friendships, we really welcome you to join us. This is a great opportunity to make new friends and meet together in a relaxed environment.

Meets in The Reeves’ Room at Oasis Christian Centre every Tuesday morning from 10.00am – 11.30am
Meeting together every Friday night from 6.15pm to 7.30pm in The Reeves Room. Ages 6 to 11.
Our primary focus is to create an enjoyable environment where our young people can meet together and be a part of a group. Livewires is a great place to make friends, have lots of fun and be introduced to Jesus. Here we want young people to feel that they are loved, appreciated and part of our Oasis family.
Each Friday ranges from crafts, games, social, and team-building activities. There is an opportunity for children to buy some tuck (recommended 30p) and to share in a time of prayer for one another’s weeks.
Meeting together every Friday night from 7:30pm to 9pm in the main church hall . Ages 11-18.
A safe place where our young people can meet together and be a part of a group. Limitless is a great place to make friends, have lots of fun and be introduced to Jesus. Here we want young people to feel that they are loved, appreciated and part of our Oasis family.
Each Friday activities range from games evenings to social outings. There is an opportunity for children to buy some tuck and to share in a time of prayer for one another’s weeks.
